Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with strong general and vascular skills and ARDMS certification for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple campuses including Iowa Methodist and Iowa Lutheran in hospital settings
- Patient population includes both pediatric and adult cases
- Expected to float to all assigned campuses as needed
- Possible weekend and on-call shifts
- Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred
- Candidates will be required to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
- Only one day off may be requested between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted, with adjusted pay rate
- Previous employment with the client within the last 12 months may affect eligibility
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a General/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
- Must be comfortable performing both pediatric and adult ultrasounds
- ARDMS (AB) certification required, plus one additional advanced discipline
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must provide at least one supervisory reference from within the last 2 years
- Active state license and certifications required; license required if applicable
