Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an overnight shift, requiring at least one year of radiology experience and an active MA license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based CT Scan unit
Overnight shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
13-week contract assignment
Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations
Performs various computed tomography procedures using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
Uses Epic for electronic charting
Performs imaging of specified body parts as directed by physicians and technical specialists
Must comply with federal, state, local, and hospital policies for imaging procedures
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
Parking may not be validated and could incur daily costs
Scrub uniforms required
Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from facility to receive standard rate

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
Active license from Massachusetts Radiation Control Board (no conditional licenses accepted); license required if applicable
ARRT certification as RT(R) or RT(N) required
ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred
BLS certification required; must be from AHA
Ability to insert and remove IVs
CPR certification required
Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
