Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with BLS, ARRT, and WI Radiographer License for a day shift contract requiring neuro IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an interventional radiology unit
- Shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Call is required 7 days on and 7 days off, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed
- May need to float within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if required
- EPIC EMR is used in the department
- Responsibilities include performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR cases
- Weekend and holiday call coverage is required if it falls within the contract
- Must be willing to float to nearby sites as needed, up to 40 miles
- Scrub color or uniform is not specified
- Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule
Requirements
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- ARRT RT and ARRT VI certifications required
- Active WI Radiographer License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year prior interventional radiology experience required
- Neuro IR experience is highly preferred
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address
