Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring a KS or compact license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 55-bed general Med/Surg and observation unit within a hospital setting
• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week assignment
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address for consideration
• Only one position may be held system-wide with this employer at a time
• Candidates may be considered local based on a facility-specific radius rule and would be subject to a local pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Two professional references and a copy of Driver’s License required for consideration

Requirements

• Active KS state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience required
• NIH Certification and MOAB (De-Escalation Training) preferred
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
