Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and high-risk OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Provide care to laboring mothers, including high-risk cases
• Participation in a collaborative team environment
• Epic EMR experience is utilized but not explicitly required
• No specific radius restrictions; local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Coverage for holiday shifts may be expected per unit needs
• Candidates may not work beyond two years on assignment without a required 90-day break

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Preferred: High-risk OB experience including 1 year within the last 2 years
• Last four digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
