Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Washington, requiring at least 3 years of L&D experience and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
• Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 18:45 to 07:15
• Float to Post-Partum unit may be required
• Handles patients delivering babies, C Sections, and those requiring magnesium drips
• EPIC EMR system is used and experience is required
• Must be flexible with scheduling; block scheduling is not permitted
• May be required to work at least two of three major holidays if assigned
• Responsible for caring for laboring mothers, including surgical interventions and post-partum care as needed
• RTO requests limited to a maximum of 5 days per assignment
• Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment
• All candidates must have been separated for at least one year if previously employed at this facility
• Training modules are completed during orientation
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the last two years as part of the application

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• AHA certifications required (such as BLS, ACLS, as relevant)
• Experience with magnesium drips and C Sections required
• Ability to float to the Post-Partum unit when needed
