Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU RN for a critical care unit position requiring a valid TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital critical care unit with a 6-bed capacity
• Patient population includes adults with cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Patients are young adult through late adult (ages 18-60+)
• Shifts are 12 hours, 18:45 to 08:15, for 36 or 48 hours per week
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must comply with facility’s radius rule, with locals accepted at a reduced rate
• Travelers may only submit to one position within the system at a time
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• Auto-offer process is in place for all positions
• Travelers should discuss contract extension options with their manager at least 45 days before contract end

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a home US address
• Submission requires two professional references and a copy of driver’s license
