Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a TN or compact RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Critical Care Unit with a 6-bed capacity
• Patient population includes young to late adults (18-60+) with cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, CHF, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, or post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Night shift, 18:45-08:15, with either 36 or 48 hour workweeks
• Must work at least one of the two major winter holidays
• 13-week travel assignment
• Care for adult patients with acute cardiovascular and cardiac surgery needs
• Must comply with facility’s radius rule for local candidates, with local pay rate applied if within the specified distance
• Submission to only one position across the health system is allowed at a time
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment

• Must include requested time off at submission

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (updates dependent on group; yearly or every two years)
• Nursys verification and license/certification primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Two professional references required
