Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a seasonal RN for a Cardiac Stepdown Telemetry position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a current KS or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Stepdown unit with a focus on telemetry patients
• Hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Patient population includes cardiac stepdown cases requiring telemetry monitoring
• 13-week seasonal travel assignment
• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac telemetry patients in a stepdown environment
• Thorough documentation and knowledge of cardiac monitoring required
• Seasonal position for travel nurses

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• At least one year of recent cardiac stepdown or telemetry RN experience is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted from AHA or ARC
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs are not accepted)
