Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for day shifts in an angiography unit.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an angiography unit specializing in interventional radiology procedures
  • Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • On-call required for at least 7 days per month, including weekends
  • Varied caseload including vascular, body, and neurological procedures
  • Assist physicians with invasive radiologic procedures, including scrubbing table side and circulating
  • Responsible for inventory management and patient care during procedures
  • Supportive team environment with collaboration among technologists and physicians
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; radius rules may apply for certain locations
  • Scrub attire required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Active Maryland radiologic technologist license required if applicable
  • CPR certification required
  • Associate’s degree in radiologic technology required
  • Experience with vascular, body, and neurological cases required
  • Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
  • Neuro experience preferred but not required
