Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for day shifts in an angiography unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in an angiography unit specializing in interventional radiology procedures
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call required for at least 7 days per month, including weekends
- Varied caseload including vascular, body, and neurological procedures
- Assist physicians with invasive radiologic procedures, including scrubbing table side and circulating
- Responsible for inventory management and patient care during procedures
- Supportive team environment with collaboration among technologists and physicians
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; radius rules may apply for certain locations
- Scrub attire required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active Maryland radiologic technologist license required if applicable
- CPR certification required
- Associate’s degree in radiologic technology required
- Experience with vascular, body, and neurological cases required
- Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
- Neuro experience preferred but not required
