Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 3 years of experience and strong hand therapy skills for a critical need position requiring an active OR license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift with hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Schedule may be 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts
• Role requires strong hand therapy experience or CHT certification
• EMR system used is Epic and experience is preferred
• Role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy with emphasis on hand and upper extremity cases
• Epic EMR experience preferred for seamless documentation
• Required documentation includes references, license verification, and relevant certifications
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Contingent workers cannot exceed two years on assignment without a mandatory 90-day break

Requirements

• Active OR Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 3 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or very strong hand therapy experience required
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending status is not accepted
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and DOB for consideration
