Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry PCU night shift position requiring a NH or compact RN license and strong MS/Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors
• Adult patient population with medical, surgical, and cardiac monitoring needs
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts weekly from 7pm-7am
• The defined workweek is Sunday morning at 12:01am through Saturday night at 11:59pm
• Responsible for direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process
• Required to assess, plan, and implement written care plans under physician direction
• Must obtain patient history, monitor vital signs, and review diagnostic testing

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact RN license required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required
• Strong medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience required
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
