Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position requiring recent travel and pediatric acute care experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Pediatrics unit within a hospital setting
• Typical patient ratio is 1:3
• Patients are pediatric, with care tasks including use of Vapotherm
• Floats to Med/Surg units within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Only 1 day of time off may be requested between 11/26 and 11/30, and between 12/23 and 1/2
• Return travelers may be subject to restrictions if previously employed at the facility within the past 12 months

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS (AHA)
• At least 2 years of recent RN Pediatrics experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• Recent Vapotherm experience required
• Must provide one supervisory reference from within the past 2 years
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility and local travelers are not accepted
