Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN with oncology experience for a night shift position in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical Overflow unit with a focus on med/surg and oncology patients
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Assignment duration is 8 weeks
Assignment is in a medical overflow unit, serving both med/surg and oncology populations
All certifications must be valid with no expiration within the first 30 days of the assignment
Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as per unit needs

Requirements

Active AK RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in med/surg or oncology nursing
AHA or ARC certifications as required for role
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Oncology nursing certification (ONC) required for oncology RNs
