Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Onc/Surg position in Alaska with a current AK RN license and chemo certification required.
Responsibilities
- Work on a Medical Oncology/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population includes oncology and surgical cases
- Provide care to a mix of oncology and surgical patients
- Must submit copies of all required certifications
- A full profile including skills checklist and references must be provided for consideration
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology or med/surg nursing
- Chemo certification required for all RNs working in oncology
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC accepted
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
