Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Onc/Surg position in Alaska with a current AK RN license and chemo certification required.

Responsibilities

Work on a Medical Oncology/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Patient population includes oncology and surgical cases
Provide care to a mix of oncology and surgical patients
Must submit copies of all required certifications
A full profile including skills checklist and references must be provided for consideration

Requirements

Active Alaska RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology or med/surg nursing
Chemo certification required for all RNs working in oncology
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC accepted
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
