Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Illinois with night shifts and current state licensure required.

Responsibilities

Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
Provides care to patients requiring close monitoring between intensive and general medical-surgical care
Night shift position with variable scheduling
13-week contract assignment
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Must recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
Required to maintain accurate and complete medical records
Expectations include professional communication and contribution to a positive work environment

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or BCLS certification
Must maintain an active state RN license throughout employment
