Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist with an active state license and BLS certification for an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in the Physical Therapy unit
• Day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm, 8-hour shift length
• 13-week assignment
• Documentation performed using Point Click Care EMR
• 12 hours of orientation provided at start of assignment
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
• Holidays may require coverage depending on schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience required
• Active state or compact (NLC) Physical Therapy license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Pending licensure or certifications are not accepted
• Must provide a copy of a driver’s license for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years with employment dates and rehire eligibility
