Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Float Pool covering Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units
• Required to float between multiple facilities including hospitals in the network
• Night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratio is 6:1
• Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Must have recent telemetry experience to be considered
• Responsible for delivering care using critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills
• Delegates patient care responsibilities based on staff education and experience
• Only limited RTO of less than 1 week will be approved
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in telemetry required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• No employment as perm staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years
• Cannot have gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
