Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a TX or compact RN license, recent Epic experience, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Cath Lab within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
Call is required on weeknights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Epic EMR is used and recent experience within the last 6 months is required
No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
RNs must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed
No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation
No travel pairs or groups will be considered
Modules for orientation are completed onsite and recorded by transcript

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience required
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Recent experience with Epic EMR within the last 6 months required
Travel nursing experience preferred
Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
