Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week contract, requiring recent Epic experience and ARRT or RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call required on weeknights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Requires experience with the Epic EMR system within the last 6 months
• 50 mile travel radius rule in effect; local candidates not accepted
• Patient population includes adult cardiology cases
• Will be expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, if needed
• No more than 3 days of time off will be approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Modules and orientation training are completed onsite and recorded via transcripts
• First time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certifications required
• Recent Epic charting experience required
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
• Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year prior to consideration
