Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position with call rotation, requiring BLS and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging department specializing in CT and radiologic technology
• Day shifts with participation in a call rotation
• Assignments are 13 weeks in length
• Patient population includes both pediatric and geriatric patients
• Overnight housing accommodations available for out-of-town employees
• Perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of the Imaging Director and radiologist
• Collaborate with other departments for effective patient care
• Participate in performance improvement activities and adhere to safety and infection control policies
• Demonstrate teamwork, professional courtesy, and adaptability to change
• Other duties as directed

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification
• Must maintain required continuing education credits for ARRT
• Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation
• Understanding of age-related developmental issues for pediatric and geriatric patients
