Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Float Pool Surgical Specialty role with Med-Surg experience and day shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Float Pool of a hospital setting
• Provides care for a variety of surgical and Med-Surg patients
• Day shifts with 12-hour shifts, working 36 hours per week
• Must float among different surgical and Med-Surg units
• Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring IVs, and documenting patient responses
• Communicates care plans and updates with patients and families
• Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Med-Surg experience required
