Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of experience and advanced ARRT (CT) credentials to work in an acute care radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care setting within the radiology department, specializing in computed tomography (CT)
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. day shift
• Uses Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice CT scanner with pre-built protocols
• Charting is performed using Cerner PowerChart 2012.01.24
• Call required, averaging one night per week, starting at 11:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 a.m.; may increase to two nights if covering for another tech
• Will perform both general radiology and CT imaging as needed
• Situated on the coast with housing leads available in nearby Coos Bay and North Bend
• Pre-built scanner protocols are designed for ease of use
• Day shift role with call responsibilities as scheduled

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) certification with ARRT (CT) advanced credential
• BLS certification required
• Oregon state OBMI license with both Radiology and CT endorsements required
• Minimum of one year experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience and proficiency operating Siemens 64 slice CT scanners
• License required if applicable
