Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU position requiring an active IL RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required, including Christmas and New Year’s
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for caring for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Holiday coverage is required for Christmas and New Year's holidays
• Assignment includes every other weekend
• Must provide license verification via Nursys if available
• Local candidates are accepted with the same pay rate as travel candidates

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• License or certification verification dated within 30 days of start required
• COVID vaccination card must be provided for consideration
