Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Step-Down (Telemetry) position, requiring a NC or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Cardiac Step-Down unit of a hospital
• Patient population includes those requiring telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and step-down level of care
• Night shift schedule with no specific mention of call requirements
• Unit may involve collaboration with an interdisciplinary cardiac care team
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers will be accepted

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required with no expiration within first 30 days
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
