Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiac ICU night shift position, requiring 1 year of recent pediatric ICU experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Specializes in care of pediatric cardiac critical care patients
  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients
  • Must submit copies of all required certifications and state board license verification
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on unit needs

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • A minimum of 1 year recent experience in pediatric ICU or cardiac ICU is required
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
