Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT certification, and a valid MA license for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital-based CT Scan department
Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT procedures under physician supervision
Ability to insert and remove IVs is required
Uses Epic EMR; experience is required
Schedule is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week contract
Duties include operating imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images and complying with all state, federal, and hospital policies
Position reports to a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager
RTO (requested time off) must be provided for consideration
Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston; local rate adjustments apply
Scrub attire is required per hospital policy
Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transit and paid public lots are available

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Current ARRT certification as RT(R) or RT(N)
ARRT registry in Computed Tomography is preferred; must obtain within one year if not held
Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license is required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
Current BLS certification from AHA is required
At least 1 year of radiology experience required
Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred
Experience with Epic EMR is required
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
License required if applicable
