Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with at least 2 years of high-risk OB ultrasound experience and ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care setting specializing in maternal fetal medicine (high-risk OB ultrasound)
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday with varied start times between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM
  • Shift length is 8 hours per day for a 40-hour workweek
  • Uses Cerner PowerChart 2012.01.19 as the EMR system
  • Primary responsibility is performing ultrasounds for high-risk obstetric patients in a maternal fetal medicine department
  • No orientation hours provided prior to starting assignments

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a sonographer in a high-risk OB setting
  • Current ARDMS, BLS, and NT certification required
  • Fetal Echo experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
