Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience to work night shifts in a Level I trauma environment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced emergency room, inpatient, and operating room setting
- Level I trauma and stroke accredited community hospital
- Adult ICU and diverse patient population, including neuro and trauma cases
- Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
- Uses Siemens equipment and Epic charting system
- Night shift position (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Works every third weekend (Friday and Saturday)
- Call requirement is once every 6 weeks
- Duties include performing a variety of CT scans and supporting patient safety during procedures
- Must maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory guidelines
- Required to participate in an on-call rotation per schedule
- Must provide two professional references, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
- All RTO (requested time off) must be built into the contract
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Former employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months; current employees ineligible to travel at any Ohio State University hospital location
- Urgent finger-printing process required for employment eligibility
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic EMR preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation
- License required if applicable
