Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience to work night shifts in a Level I trauma environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced emergency room, inpatient, and operating room setting
• Level I trauma and stroke accredited community hospital
• Adult ICU and diverse patient population, including neuro and trauma cases
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• Uses Siemens equipment and Epic charting system
• Night shift position (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Works every third weekend (Friday and Saturday)
• Call requirement is once every 6 weeks
• Duties include performing a variety of CT scans and supporting patient safety during procedures
• Must maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory guidelines
• Required to participate in an on-call rotation per schedule
• Must provide two professional references, including at least one from a supervisor or manager
• All RTO (requested time off) must be built into the contract
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible if separated for at least 6 months; current employees ineligible to travel at any Ohio State University hospital location
• Urgent finger-printing process required for employment eligibility

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Advanced ARRT certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation
• License required if applicable
