Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neuro position on a day shift in Texas, requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Neuro Med/Surg unit
• Patient population includes neurological and medical-surgical cases
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide specialized nursing care for neuro and med/surg patients
• Must ensure all certifications are valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
• References and license verification required
• Candidates must submit a complete application and skills checklist

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Neuro Med/Surg
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
