Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment in Solano County, CA with at least one year of recent home health experience and an active CA PT license.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering Solano County, with flexibility to expand territory as needed
• 40 hours per week scheduled from Saturday to Wednesday on day shifts
• Productivity requirement of 30 points per week, averaging 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
• Main patient visit types include start of care, recertification, resumption of care, discharge, evaluations, and revisits
• Uses Kinnser for documentation and iPad/Verizon One Talk as issued equipment
• Mileage, parking, and toll expenses reimbursed
• Main responsibilities include prioritizing start of care visits, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, and timely submission of documentation
• Mandatory 3-day training, including both in-house and field orientation
• Timely communication with supervisors, intake, and office staff is expected
• Company car available as an option with adjustment to compensation
• Mileage reimbursed at the specified rate per mile from first to last patient

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a home health setting
• Previous experience supervising PTAs preferred
• Ability to complete clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of visits
• License required if applicable
