Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery days position in Colorado with required certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with postpartum and couplet care responsibilities
• Care for patients 32 weeks gestation and above, with approximately 60 deliveries per month
• Responsibilities include L&D, operating room, PACU, and postpartum care
• 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends
• Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change
• Position is not open to local candidates; permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Work in a collaborative environment with an award-winning, evidence-based care team
• Couplet care model for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Facility housing may be available for travelers to rent directly

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 4 years recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), NRP, and STABLE
• Proof of current seasonal influenza vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
