Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT CT certification and at least one year of acute clinical radiology experience for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a CT Scan unit within an acute care setting
- Work involves both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
- Shift is 18:00 to 06:30
- Work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and Radiologist
- On-call is optional
- Responsible for acquiring high-quality images and assisting Radiologist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Handles processing and transmission of images to PACS
- Functions as part of a supportive and collaborative healthcare team
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Scrub or dress code not specified
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in CT required
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program
- Minimum of 1 year acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
- Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state (license required if applicable)
- Current and maintained BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
- Proficient computer skills
- Completion of DCI/BVP Workplace Violence Prevention training or willingness to complete
