Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Observation/Chest Pain Critical Decision Unit night shift position requiring a current MI RN license and at least two years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Observation/Chest Pain Critical Decision Unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Patient population includes observation and chest pain cases
- Must not have a permanent address within 60 miles of the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted during the assignment
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- COVID vaccination card required
- RQI certifications not accepted

I have never worked anywhere that runs like this facility. They have very limited resources in the upper peninsula. The staffing is always short. The nurses normally do a lot of tech work daily very unorganized difficult to complete tasks because of the way the unit is run. The people are great, but I don’t see any improvement here for a very long time
