Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, requiring an active CA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting
• Day shift schedule with no anticipated travel requirements
• Patient population includes individuals seeking rehabilitation to improve mobility, function, and strength
• Utilizes an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for documentation
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing care plans, and supervising support staff
• Required to ensure accurate patient documentation and manage prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy at all times
• Participation in business marketing and referral processes may be expected
• No regular weekend or call requirements are listed
• Dress code and scrub requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active California Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Ability to supervise PT Assistants and Aides
• Computer proficiency including EMR, basic typing, and internet skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide physical assistance to patients
• Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
