Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of clinical CT experience, ARRT (R, CT) certification, and a Wisconsin Radiographer license.
Responsibilities
- Work in hospital CT departments across a minimum of two locations
- Position requires day and evening 8-hour shifts, primarily starting between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM
- Weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities are part of the schedule
- Float to multiple units or locations as needed based on operational requirements
- Travelers are the first to be assigned to float shifts
- Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures using a variety of radiographic equipment
- Set up imaging room according to exam requirements and use proper isolation precautions when needed
- Collaborate with staff to organize schedules and triage procedures
- Provide basic maintenance, repairs, and participate in QA and issue resolution for image archiving systems
- Orientation typically lasts about one week and is scheduled per department requirements
- First-time travelers are accepted in some units
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
- Locals within 50 miles are not accepted
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years clinical CT imaging experience
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
- Current Wisconsin Radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association required
- Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the primary work site
- Must pass required pre-employment telemetry examination within two attempts
