Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of clinical CT experience, ARRT (R, CT) certification, and a Wisconsin Radiographer license.

Responsibilities

• Work in hospital CT departments across a minimum of two locations
• Position requires day and evening 8-hour shifts, primarily starting between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM
• Weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities are part of the schedule
• Float to multiple units or locations as needed based on operational requirements
• Travelers are the first to be assigned to float shifts
• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures using a variety of radiographic equipment
• Set up imaging room according to exam requirements and use proper isolation precautions when needed
• Collaborate with staff to organize schedules and triage procedures
• Provide basic maintenance, repairs, and participate in QA and issue resolution for image archiving systems
• Orientation typically lasts about one week and is scheduled per department requirements
• First-time travelers are accepted in some units
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• Locals within 50 miles are not accepted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical CT imaging experience
• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Current Wisconsin Radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association required
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the primary work site
• Must pass required pre-employment telemetry examination within two attempts
