Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and valid ARRT(R) certification for weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings
• Shifts are 12-hour days on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call required for 2 nights per month and 1 weekend per 13-week contract
• Caseload averages 50-60 cases shared among three techs
• 4-5 technologists are scheduled per shift
• GE equipment is used for CT procedures
• Position accepts both local and travel candidates, subject to a 50-mile radius rule
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently manage a multi-step workflow
• Pass/fail EKG testing is required on the first day, with study guides and two attempts provided
• Teamwork expected within a group of 4-5 techs per shift
• Professional scrubs or attire according to department standards
• The position involves gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to produce final imaging output

Requirements

• Current ARRT(R) registration is required
• Active BLS certification is required
• Valid VA Radiology License required; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience is required
• Broad range of technical skills in Radiology/CT is required
• Preferred qualifications include ARRT(R)(CT), ACLS certification, 2 years of radiology experience, and previous CT experience
