Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I trauma acute care setting, requiring at least 2 years' CT experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care, Level I trauma center with 8 CT treatment areas
• Mixed patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics, with high acuity cases
• Perform a variety of imaging studies including CTAs, cardiac, and perfusion studies in both OR and ER settings
• Night shifts with a set schedule: Week 1 (Thurs/Fri/Sat), Week 2 (Sun/Thurs/Fri), 12-hour shifts
• May be required to float between the main campus and a stand-alone ER at the UC campus, depending on need
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
• Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS for charting
• Overnight techs are preferred to be able to perform both CT and X-ray procedures
• Artificial nails are prohibited for all patient care providers
• Candidates must not be currently or recently employed in any capacity by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facilities within the past year
• Radiation badge will be provided
• Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; additional time off will not be approved
• Holiday coverage may be required based on departmental needs
• Successful candidates excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and demonstrate strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Scrubs or dress code policy will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required
• ARRT (R) required; (CT) certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Active state or compact license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Level I trauma and prior travel experience required
• Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Driver’s license required for consideration and to verify compliance with 50-mile radius rule
• Must provide 2 professional references: one supervisor from the last year, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
