Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with an IA or compact license for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring BLS certification and rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

Work on the 7 North Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Patient population includes a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry cases
12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
Rotating every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
Team-based environment supporting diverse medical and telemetry patient needs
Documentation of licensure and certifications is required prior to start
First-time travelers are accepted for this role
Holiday and weekend coverage are required as part of the regular rotation
RN candidates from specified states may qualify for local pay rates

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
No minimum years of experience specified
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start
Nursys verification for RNs required
COVID vaccination may be required for consideration
