Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on an Oncology/Diabetes unit in Tennessee, requiring a compact or TN RN license and oncology certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg department on the Oncology/Diabetes/6th Floor unit
• Hospital setting focusing on oncology and diabetes patients
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract
• Care for adult oncology and diabetes patients in an acute hospital environment
• Night shift nursing responsibilities over 12-hour shifts
• References and license verification are required for consideration
• Only candidates with a valid US Social Security Number are eligible

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months considered
