Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry assignment on a long-term acute care unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long-term acute care hospital on the 5th floor LTC Nursing Unit
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring in an LTAC setting
• Night shifts, 12 hours
• Thirteen-week contract assignment
• No on-call required
• Strict guidelines for requested time off: maximum 5 days unless near holidays (maximum 3 days), and only one holiday request allowed
• Requested days off during the holidays must be spread out and not consecutive
• Tele nurses are part of an interdisciplinary team in an LTAC environment
• Only one job position can be considered at a time for application

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed)
• Former employees must be separated for 1 year before returning, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
