Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel assignment requiring recent critical care experience and valid Oregon licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week schedule
• Patient care supported with Epic EMR system
• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients in an ICU setting
• Must adhere to facility-specific tenure policy regarding assignment duration
• Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Oregon at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completion of two professional references required for consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• BSN or related field preferred
• Two years recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and CCRN preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
