Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract with 1.5+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an MRI imaging department providing services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Perform imaging for soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast media
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment
• Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• No call required
• 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers permitted
• Perform imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and under the direction of a Radiologist
• May be required to change imaging parameters to meet exam needs
• RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than 1 week
• Previous permanent staff at this health system within the last 2 years are not eligible
• 3 separate files required for consideration: application, complete profile, and copies of required certifications and driver's license

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent MRI Technologist experience required
• Current ARRT (R) and (MR) certification required
• BLS and CPR certification required
• Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment is preferred
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• License required if applicable
