Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring pediatric recovery experience and a CO or compact state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position in the PACU at an outpatient surgery center
• Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Must work in pre-op, phase 1, and phase 2 recovery areas
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities
• Pediatric recovery experience required
• Charting is completed in Epic
• First-time travelers are eligible if experience requirements are met
• Scrubs required in dark blue
• Floating not required unless staffing needs change
• Holiday and blocked scheduling restrictions apply
• A maximum of 10 approved days off per contract; blackout dates apply
• Applicants with prior employment at UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years are not eligible

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
• Experience with pediatric recovery required
• Epic charting experience preferred
