Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Stepdown position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent neuro stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the Neuro Stepdown unit
• Care for neuro stepdown patient population
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, 3x12 hours per week
• Travelers are required to work at least every other holiday
• Assessment testing in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation
• Clinical orientation includes required tests with a maximum of two attempts allowed for ECG rhythm and safeMedicate exams
• Fingerprinting and badging must be completed onsite prior to the start date
• Annual and pre-start modules must be completed, recorded via Silkroad
• Cleveland Clinic accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates must wait one year from their previous end date before returning
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• PAPRs are not considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair except with approved exemptions

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Neuro Stepdown prior to travel assignments
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• At least one professional reference from a supervisor, manager, ANM, or director in the specialty is required for consideration
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• No open background check cases or license hits are accepted
