Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist skilled in both CT and X-Ray, with ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS, and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in both CT and X-Ray units within a hospital setting
• Float between CT and X-Ray departments as needed
• Utilize CT GE Maxima, XR GE Definium Tempo, and XR GE portable equipment
• Night shifts, 5x8 hours, from 23:00 to 07:00
• No on-call requirements
• Care is provided to patients of all ages
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must adapt protocols and imaging exams for patients of all ages
• Venipuncture skills are preferred
• Traveler will participate in a pass/fail exam process prior to starting
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Modules are completed during orientation
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted, but offered at a different rate
• Requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Scrub or dress code not specified

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• Valid state license or certification is required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray specialties
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program or technical school diploma
• Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs
• References and certification copies required for consideration
• PA Fingerprints required prior to start; PA Childline if not within last 5 years
