Job Description

American Traveler seeks an Ultrasound Technologist experienced in general, vascular, and echo imaging, with flexibility for various shifts and call.

Responsibilities

• Position involves general, vascular, and echo ultrasound procedures
• Work is across multiple campuses, including KVMH and SMMH
• Setting is hospital-based with diagnostic imaging as the primary modality
• 40 hours per week with day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• On-call responsibilities require being within 20 minutes of the hospital
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work overtime
• Candidates must be able to cover shifts at multiple hospital campuses as needed
• Position includes paid orientation covering HR, safety, risk and quality management, in-servicing, and IT/EMR training
• First and second day of onboarding includes various required facility orientations and EMR training
• Holiday and weekend coverage is required
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in general, vascular, and echo modalities
• ARDMS license required in general, vascular, and echo, if applicable
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Must be able to work independently
