Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring active MA licensure, EPIC proficiency, and both BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit within a hospital environment
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights (7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a) as needed
• Assignment duration is 8 weeks
• Required to float between ICU and IMCU units
• Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
• May be required to care for both ICU and intermediate care patients depending on staffing needs
• No time off is approved during the assignment
• No holiday time off will be granted
• Scrub or dress code aligned with hospital standards
• Parking fees may apply at the work location

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a similar hospital setting
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All prior employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and flu vaccination required; medical exemptions accepted
• Must pass Tele/ECG and medication testing modules
