Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and BLS certification to perform all CT procedures in a busy hospital department.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital CT imaging department
- Works with ED and inpatient populations
- High volume CT department requiring independent work
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must be able to assist with high ED and inpatient volume
- Must work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)
- Returning permanent staff must wait 2 years before returning as travelers
- All requested time off must be declared up front
- Must provide necessary documentation for compliance prior to start
- Scrub requirements will be provided by the facility
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience required
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Must have ability to work independently in a busy setting
