Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and radiopharmaceutical dosing for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM day shifts
- Responsibilities include Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures
- Uses Siemens equipment, Capintec Well Counters/Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system
- Responsibilities include calculating, preparing, and administering correct dosages of radiopharmaceuticals for radionuclide studies
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except where specific radius rules apply
- Candidates must be familiar with advanced nuclear medicine procedures and equipment
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current ARRT certification
- CPR certification via AHA
- Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
- Proficiency with Siemens equipment, Capintec Well Counters/Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system
- License required if applicable
