Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and radiopharmaceutical dosing for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM day shifts
Responsibilities include Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures
Uses Siemens equipment, Capintec Well Counters/Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system
Responsibilities include calculating, preparing, and administering correct dosages of radiopharmaceuticals for radionuclide studies
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except where specific radius rules apply
Candidates must be familiar with advanced nuclear medicine procedures and equipment

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Current ARRT certification
CPR certification via AHA
Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance required
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
Proficiency with Siemens equipment, Capintec Well Counters/Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system
License required if applicable
